Q2 planning + budget review

Hi Sam,

Following up on the thread — I know the numbers are still moving, but the offsite is Monday and leadership wants a direction locked before then.

Could we still do Tuesday as a working session? Taylor can bring whatever's ready and we treat the budget piece as provisional. I'd rather have an imperfect plan we can react to than nothing at all.

Let me know what you think — happy to adjust.

  • Confirm Tuesday1

Tuesday works — I'll send the budget notes beforehand.

  • Propose Friday

Friday's cleaner — it gives us time to tighten the numbers.

  • Ask scope3

Before I lock it in — what scope are you picturing?

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the nudge — I know the offsite is bearing down on everyone.

On timing: Tuesday is doable, but Taylor's right that the budget figures won't be final until Thursday, so a Tuesday review would be provisional at best. If we can hold until Friday, we walk in with a complete picture instead of caveats.

A middle path: keep Tuesday as a 30-minute working session to lock the plan, then a focused budget pass Friday once the numbers land. Leadership gets a direction before the offsite without anyone presenting half-baked figures.

I'll send the updated numbers Thursday evening either way so everyone can pre-read.

Best,

Sam
